1. A Christmas Prince


You might find this Netflix original cheesy, but why wouldn’t a lighthearted romance warm your heart? The movie is about a very young journalist who in an attempt of getting some scoop on a handsome prince happens to fall in love with the same person.

2. Bad Santa


All the adults planning to be together on holiday for a movie should watch this dark comedy of Billy Bob Thornton. It has humor, a bit of heart, and a lot of profanity (but used in the best possible fun way). And, Lauren Graham is also co-starring this movie.

3. A Christmas Horror Story


Let’s make it more excellent! William Shatner is the “Dangerous Dan” and this is definitely the anthology of Christmas horror scenes. You will love the cheers mixed with horror squeaks.

4. Dear Santa


The sweetheart of everyone, Amy Acker learning a valuable holiday lesson by falling in love – with a soup kitchen owner! Isn’t this already great? This movie is directed by Jason Priestley and has to score high!

 5. Get Santa


Iris from Game of Thrones, the award-winning Jim Broadbent is acting as Santa Claus. This Santa Claus for a change has crashed his sleigh and is on a continuous run from the police.

6. Dr. Seuss’ How the Grinch Stole Christmas (2000)


This Jim Carrey version of the original cartoon is the best thing to ask for this Christmas. He is justifying the role completely.

7. A Holiday Engagement


This Hallmark charmer has Chris McKenna, Bonnie Somerville, Shelley Long, and Haylie Duff. This is a movie about a woman who after being unceremoniously dumped hires a man to play as her fiancé for the holiday time. Interesting already right??? 8. The Ref


You might be missing out on a huge entertainment if you haven’t seen this holiday comedy. Kevin Spacey and Denis Leary star in this movie and add fun as no other movie can. Leary’s criminal makes a family hostage on Christmas evening while planning the escape for himself – which in return becomes a hilarious performance.

9. While You Were Sleeping


If you haven’t seen this movie, then go ahead and put this 1st on your watch-list. Sandra Bullock, the love in precise is acting as the hopeless romantic who is working for Chicago Transit Authority and simply ends in a love triangle with Peter Gallagher and Bill Pullman.

 10. White Christmas


An all-time holiday classic, White Christmas is about romance and comedy with an outstanding performance of Bing Crosby, Vera-Ellen, Rosemary Clooney, and Danny Kaye as the secret MVP. Warm-up your heart with the beautiful piece of classics of 1954.

11. It’s a Wonderful Life


The American Film Institute has labeled it to be the most inspiring move of all time. This fantasy drama movie by director Frank Capra has not lost its power even after decades. The ionic performance given by James Steward, a banker named George Bailey is always delightful to re-visit.

12. A Charlie Brown Christmas


Even if you are a grow-up you can get enough of this movie. It’s a half-hour animated special that premiered in the mid-60s. It’s yet another masterpiece of Charles M. Schulz the creator of Peanuts, the comic-strip.

13. Elf


Jon Favreau before directing Iron and the jungle book created Elf and choose Will Ferrell to create this irresistible family comedy movie. It’s inspired by the 2010 Broadway musical Elf: The Musical and TV special Elf: Buddy’s Musical Christmas.
